Collection author's dolls on a visit in Legoland

Queen of Denmark Margrethe II Its Majesty Queen Margretta has received in communication with the sixtieth anniversary a gift from the Russian creator of author's dolls Olina Ventsel. Queen Margretta wanted, that many had an opportunity to admire with these beautiful dolls. The reference in Legoland with the purpose to investigate an opportunity of creation of a special exhibition in assembly of collection dolls in Internal Exhibitions of park therefore has acted.

Olina ventsel itself was present in Legoland to place the author's dolls in show-windows where in the future they will please many visitors of park. These five porcelain dolls represent Queen Margrettu II, Princess Dagmar, Ole Lukoie and two vikings. There is only one copy of each of dolls.

The artist so describes it:

  • The First porcelain doll represents Queen Margrettu II. The doll is created as if it has just left a fairy tale, reminding about the elf which radiates friendliness and wisdom. The doll carries a historical suit, the dress of manual work from silk is decorated by laces;
  • The Second doll it dane Princess Dagmara who was married for Russian tsar Alexander III;
  • The Inspiration to creation of the third porcelain doll has arisen owing to Hans Hristiana Andersen's fairy tale. It Ole Lukoie. The porcelain head is painted manually, the suit of manual work from silk, a velvet and is framed by laces;
  • Last two author's dolls represent vikings, the man and the woman, in historical suits of 10-11 centuries.
